Are little children charged to attend?
Children below the age of 3 are not charged. Those 3 through
12 are admitted with a child’s ticket ($5) and all others, ages 13
+ are considered adults and their fare is $7.00. Only those 12 and below
will be eligible to collect treats—and treat bags will be provided
when entering.
How scary will Park-a-Boo
be?
The event is designed to be slightly scary—for children under the
age of 13.
What activities are at park-a-Boo?
There are lots of things for kids to do as they explore the “Island”.
After passing into the event, all activities are FREE. They include

What food and beverages will be available—will
smoking and pets be allowed?
Area Kiwanis and Key (High School) Clubs as well as the Jefferson Chamber
Foundation will sell Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Pasta Jambalaya, Popcorn, Nachos
and Cheese and soft drinks and water. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed
at the event nor will smoking be allowed. Guide dogs are the only animals
that will be allowed.
How will ticket sales be handled?
Ticket may be purchased over the internet for specific days—they
are non refundable. Although we are limiting the number of tickets sold,
we anticipate tickets will be available on the day of the event at the
gate on a CASH ONLY basis. Internet ticket sales are mailed to the purchaser
within a week of purchase.
What else will be going on at park-a-boo?
During some of the days the Island will be visited by clowns, Mother Goose,
Hugo and the Honeybees, Boudreaux and Clotile and the Bonnabel Bear.
